London Zoo

On Wednesday 31st of March Year 7 went to London Zoo.

In the zoo we were given worksheets. These sheets were filled out while walking around the zoo which meant we had to do plenty of research and and there were plenty of opportunities to look nat all the fascinating animals. Although Miss Widmanska had devised some very difficult quesions to challenge us, at the same time we all had great fun as we worked in groups with our friends and we also had the opportunity to get to know different members of the year group.

A particularly enjoyable experience was the the moonlight house which contained nocturnal animals (sleep in the day and are active by night). The creatures were fascinating

We went to many different places and saw many different animals such as the giraffes, camels and okapis. The aquarium was filled with some of the most beautifully coloured tropical fish.

On behalf of the whole Year 7 group I would like to say "thank you Miss Widmanska and all the staff who accompanied us to make a great day out possible."
