Charity at Our Lady's
The school has a well established tradition of collecting regularly different charities. Twice a year there is a collection for the Catholic Fund for Overseas Development (CAFOD), Comic Relief and there is a weekly charity talk and collection.
Weekly Charity Talks
These are prepared, presented and organised by the school Charity Captains. Last year the total collected for charity was £6000. The table below sets out the different charities that were collected for by OLC students in 2003-04.

CAFOD
As a Catholic school we support the Catholic Fund for Overseas Development which aims to help developing countries through projects such as providing fresh water and decent housing. The total raised for CAFOD was £301.43.
Comic Relief
The School has regularly collected for Comic Relief. Traditionally red noses are sold, students all pay to wear non uniform and each year participates in a sponsored event. This year the events varied from skipping, the congo, sponsored silence, 'wackiest hair competition and a netball match between staff and pupils - with a decisive win by the pupils. The total raised was nearly £4000.
