The school complies with the requirements of the National Curriculum at both Key Stage 3 and 4. Cross-curricular elements are covered in guidance periods. We aim to provide a curriculum, which is broad, balanced and coherent. At the same time we aim to cater for students with special needs and special talents. The curriculum means not only the subjects on the timetable, but all other learning experiences students encounter whilst at school. These include activities, competitions, visits, speakers, team games, opportunities to learn musical instruments, opportunities to take on responsibilities, work experience etc.
The school has documentation on the school curriculum, syllabus, schemes of work and the annual report of the Governors' to Parents' meetings. The minutes of all Governors' meetings are also available. |
