The Library is a popular and heavily used resource, open to all members of the school community. So whether you're a year 7 Jacqueline Wilson fan or are just about to sit A-Levels, the Library is here to help.Our ever increasing bookstock not only re-inforces a love of reading, but also provides support for all areas of study, from Art to Zoology. In addition,an extensive range of magazines and newspapers are available, as well as the Internet and CD-Roms.

Library Events
Since October the Library has been delighted to hold a series of special events. These have included in conjunction with the English Department, the launch of a hundred new titles, a book sale, and a special poetry evening with Rosetta Stone for students and parents alike.In keeping the History Department have presented two excellent displays on trench warfare, and President Kennedy by Years 9 and 10 respectively. Moreover, parents and carers have been invited to sponser or donate a book as "their" contribution to the Library. The response has been both touching, and overwhelming! Next year promises to be even busier, with the award winning childrens author Jean Ure visiting in March as part of our rolling programme of activities. See the timetable of Reading Events.

Homework Club
In a major new intiative the Library now opens to 5 o'clock every day (except Tuesday) and has a dedicated Homework Club open to all. The club offers the right facilities and peaceful atmosphere to enable pupils achieve their potential, while fostering strong independent study skills. Why not try Homework Club?
