Hongkong city tour 1

Full day at leisure or enjoy an optional half day morning tour of Hong Kong Island. Visit Victoria Peak for a panoramic view of the city and Stanley Market, famous for bargain shopping. Return along the coast of Repulse Bay and Deep Water Bay to Aberdeen, the floating village for fishermen. Enjoy a tour to the New Territories, the rural side of Hong Kong, where you will see small villages and peasants working their land. Visit Cheuk Lam Sim Yuen, one of Hong Kong's most impressive Buddhist monasteries, the Wishing Tree in Taipo and Kam Tin Walled village, built 700 years ago by the Tang Clan. Continue to the border lookout at Lok Ma Chau overlooking the Shenzhen River.

Full day tour to Lantau Island. Highlights of the tour include Cheung Sha Beach, Shek Pik Reservoir, the tranquil Tai O fishing village, then climb the mountains to Po Lin Monastery in Hong Kong and a statue of Buddha, which was completed in early 1990 and is the world's largest, seated, outdoor bronze Buddha.

Hongkong/Macau

Full day Macau tour. After an hour long ferry ride your sightseeing begins by driving along Guia Circuit, the site for the annual Macau Grand Prix. Then visit the Temple of A-Ma, dedicated to the deity after whom Macau was named by the Portuguese settlers in 1554 to 1557. See Porta do Cerco, the historical barrier gate between Macau and China. Visit the ruins of Sao Paulo. The grand facade belonged to a 16th century church built by Italian and Japanese Jesuit priests. Walk through the picturesque cobblestone streets. Continue to Penha Hill Church, a graceful chapel first built in the 17th century as part of Guia Fort, commanding a magnificent view of the Pearl River, Macau Inner Harbor and the City. Finally, visit the gambling tables of Macau's world famous casino.
